ITS OFFICIAL! MIKE D’ANTONI IS THE COACH OF THE LAKERS!
We told y’all on Saturday that, if the Lakers couldn’t coach Phil Jackson out of retirement, that former Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni was the man that would replace Mike Brown as head coach and guess what?! We were RIGHT! Several outlets are reporting that D’Antoni signed a 3 year, $12 million deal (with an option for a 4th) late Sunday night.  This deal reunites him with one of his best former players, Steve Nash, and gives him a chance to cement his legacy in the league if he can work out the kinks in this brand new Lakers squad that also includes new Laker Dwight Howard.
