THE DIRTY: A Florida judge just revoked the bail of George Zimmerman, the man accused of second-degree murder in the killing of Florida teen Trayvon Martin. Prosecutors requested that his bail be revoked because he failed to mention that there was a website set up to raise money for his defense. The judge has given Zimmerman 72 hours to turn himself in!
Our mother always told us that you should never write down anything that could hurt you if it got into the wrong hands. Someone needed to tell a California man just that, in a story that comes courtesy of the Associated Press:
SANTA MARIA, Calif. (AP) — Police say a drug dealer mistakenly sent messages to a California central coast police officer in an attempt to sell methamphetamines.
The Santa Maria officer notified Santa Barbara County sheriff’s detectives about the errant text messages early Tuesday. The officer and detectives then set up a meeting with the alleged drug dealer.
Sheriff’s spokesman Drew Sugars says they arrested 39-year-old Reymundo Carlos Escobedo and seized about 2 grams of methamphetamine.
A news release says 37-year-old John Martin Silvera, who is Escobedo’s suspected methamphetamine supplier, also arrived and was arrested with about 7 grams of methamphetamine.
Escobedo and Silvera remain held on drug charges, including criminal conspiracy. Bail is set at $30,000 each.

AMY WINEHOUSE’S HOME PLACED ON THE MARKET
The home that singer Amy Winehouse lived…and died in was put on the market by her father Mitch for $4.2 million. While Winehouse’s father initially said that they wouldn’t sell the home for fear that someone would buy it for the wrong reasons, UK newspaper The Sun is reporting that the familyp changed their minds because no one could move themselves to live in it and the upkeep was expensive. The house was originally purchased by Winehouse and her father in 2010.
